Speed and performance are very important when it comes to SEO as well as conversion ratios. A slow-loading website won’t fare well when it comes to organic rankings and has been publically stated by Google.
Slow load time is also known to increase bounce rates. (A bounce is measured as a visitor who leaves a website without visiting a 2nd page on load) It’s therefore very important to improve these metrics.
We decreased the load times by virtually half and significantly improved the page speed score. The testing tool used for the before and after results was GTMetrix.
